Apple Mac OS X 10.11 Install Problems

Hello

I have a Macbook Air A1466 and I have been trying to reinstall the system afresh.

First of all the system installer of OS X said:

OS X could not be installed on your computer

No packages were eligible for install. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again.

So then I adjusted the time using the Terminal utility as that was suggested as a fix, which has altered things slightly.

Now it just goes to a blank screen and does nothing.

What can I do?

Eventually I had to do the following on all of the El Capitan Macbooks:

1. Start-up with command+R and use disk utility to clear the disk
2. Install OSX El Capitan by entering AppleID - it fails after a long time
3. Start-up again with command+R and start Terminal under Utilities
4. Disconnect the WiFi and Network
5. Type 'date 0615123017' and see that the date is now June 2017
6. Restart and do not your reconnect network (WiFi will reconnect automatically so make sure you have disabled your router or the date will change back.)
7. You should see a slightly different install screen where you have to agree to the license terms, and it should now install.
